Main Building

Alva General Hospital was opened in 1932 and used as a hospital until 1972. In 1976, with the help of the Charles Morton Share Trust, it became the new home of the Cherokee Strip Museum.

  • Military Wing with POW Artifacts 

  • Surgery Wing with Iron Lung 

  • Undertaker Room 

  • Hospital Nursery (used by the Alva General Hospital)

  • Electric Train Display 

  • Indian Room
